Revolution Super Dart vs Skin Choice Classic Darts: which UK microdart pack

A UK pack comparison of Revolution Super Dart and Skin Choice Classic Darts — hybrid dome versus plain microdart, where each is sold, and roughly what a patch costs.

This is general information, not medical advice. For deep, painful, or recurring spots, see a GP.

A clear dome-shaped spot patch and a clear square microdart patch, both showing a fine cone grid, on a marble bathroom counter

The job is to leave with one microdart pack for a closed early bump. Revolution Super Dart and Skin Choice Classic Darts are the two names this site already lists for that job. The builds differ, and so does the till price.

Hydrocolloid is the cheap round disc, roughly 15–40p a patch. It collects fluid from a whitehead, an open spot, or anything already weeping. A microdart is a small patch of dissolving cones, typically £0.60–£2.50+ each, for a bump that is still closed. If the spot is deep, painful, cystic, or it keeps returning in the same place, skip both packs and see a GP. A patch sits on the surface. It is not a cure.

The hydrocolloid vs microdart comparison is the short fork if you are still unsure you need cones.

What you are comparing

Revolution Super Dart (Amazon UK) is a hybrid. A grid of tiny dissolving cones sits on a small hydrocolloid dome. The site lists it as about £5.51–£9 for 9 patches. Justmylook has shown the low end, around £5.51. Debenhams has shown about £9. The Super Dart explainer covers that dome in more detail.

Skin Choice Classic Darts (Amazon UK) is a plain microdart in Holland & Barrett’s own range. Dissolving cones for one closed bump, without the hydrocolloid dome. The site lists the pack around £10.99. Count the patches on the box before you turn that into a price per patch.

Both belong on a closed early bump. Once a spot has a head, or it is open and weeping, a hydrocolloid disc is the format that matches. A line such as salicylic on the carton does not create a third job. Read the shape of the patch first.

Roughly what a patch costs

Microdarts on this site sit in a wide band — about £0.60–£2.50+ a patch — because small packs jump around. Divide the box you can buy today.

Super Dart is the easier sum. At the listed £5.51 for 9 patches you are near 61p each, the bottom of that band. At about £9 for the same 9 you are at £1 a patch. Each cone still costs more than a 15–40p hydrocolloid disc, even when the 9-pack total looks like a cheap hydrocolloid box.

Skin Choice is listed around £10.99 for the pack. That is a higher box price than Super Dart’s 9-pack at either listed figure. Count the darts before you compare per patch. More patches can land you in the same £0.60–£2.50+ band. Fewer patches make each one dearer.

A cone on a weeping whitehead was still the wrong format. The pence matter after the spot matches the patch.

Dome versus a plain dart

Super Dart’s hydrocolloid base can take a little surface fluid if the spot is slightly further along than a fully closed bump. It is the wrong patch for a whitehead that is already open or leaking. The dome is also easy to squash if you pinch it like a cheap round sticker. Press the patch on. Do not fold the cones.

Skin Choice is the straighter microdart: cones for a bump with no whitehead, no broken surface, and no leak. A cloudy white middle is what a hydrocolloid disc looks like when it has collected fluid. The white-centre guide is that colour read, for discs.

Wear time on this site for a microdart is six to eight hours, or overnight. Leave it on. Peeling it after twenty minutes to compare brands uses a cone you will not get back. If a hydrocolloid disc stayed clear all night, the bump was probably still closed, and a thicker disc will not invent fluid. The unchanged-bump guide is that morning.

Where they sit in a UK shop

Super Dart is the Justmylook, Debenhams, and Amazon UK pattern on this site. Skin Choice is the Holland & Barrett pattern, also listed on Amazon UK. This is not a Boots own-label aisle. Full stockist notes, including ACROPASS, are on where to buy microdart patches.

If you are already in Holland & Barrett, Skin Choice is the pack on that shelf. If you already buy Revolution online, a second cone brand is a spare for the same closed bump. Under-eye ovals are a different format: pounds a wear, cut for a line, not one chin bump.

Which pack to buy

Buy Revolution Super Dart when the bump is closed, you want the listed 9-pack, and the price is still around £5.51–£9. On this site’s figures it is the lower box total. The dome is a middle step if the spot might be a little further along. Keep a plain disc for whiteheads.

Buy Skin Choice Classic Darts when you want a plain microdart, you shop Holland & Barrett, and the pack around £10.99 still divides inside the £0.60–£2.50+ band once you count the patches.

Buy neither pack for a spot that is already open, weeping, or a whitehead. Stockists for that format are on where to buy hydrocolloid patches. Buy neither for a deep, sore, cystic, or repeating spot. That is a GP visit. If a cone lifts, the skin was probably not dry, or the patch was folded. The overnight hydrocolloid guide is the dry-skin checklist. The same dry skin matters before you open a dearer cone.

Where to buy in the UK

Both packs are on Amazon UK. Revolution Super Dart (Amazon UK) is the 9-patch hybrid dome, listed around £5.51–£9, with Justmylook and Debenhams as the other named paths. Skin Choice Classic Darts (Amazon UK) is the plain microdart, also at Holland & Barrett, listed around £10.99. Check both retailers before you divide. Cones stay in the site’s rough band of £0.60–£2.50+ a patch. Everyday hydrocolloid stays nearer 15–40p.

More pack notes sit in all guides. If you are still choosing a format rather than a 9-patch versus a Holland & Barrett box, start with hydrocolloid vs microdart.
